Having a waist circumference greater than the recommended upper limit is associated with numerous health problems including heart disease, strokes, diabetes, sexual problems and many cancers. To look through and analyse all the various forms of available advice on weight control is an impossible task. Most people trying to lose weight have embarked on one or other of these “programs” and while nearly always initially losing weight, find that the weight comes back on after time and often ending up carrying more weight than before they commenced the program. Going on regular walks or cutting back on certain foods and drinks is important but almost never sufficient to give long term results.

  

Dr Michael Gillman has developed a  programme that incorporates a scientific analysis of your energy input and energy expenditure to ensure results. By involving body fat percentage, waist circumference and  metabolic rate,  recommendations can be made on choosing brand names of foods that meet the energy and fat density requirements for you. This is followed by further visits where nutritional balance, daily movement monitoring and increasing metabolism are addressed along with further measurements.
